Terms & Conditions – Thread & Thaan

Welcome to Thread & Thaan. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Products & Images

  • All products are described as accurately as possible, including fabric type, width, embroidery, and other details.
  • Slight variations in color, texture, and finish may occur due to photography, lighting, or screen resolution. Such variations will not be considered a defect.
  • Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly due to the nature of fabric cutting.

2. Orders & Payments

  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment or confirmation of Cash on Delivery (COD).
  • COD orders require a mandatory partial advance payment. The balance is payable at the time of delivery.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reject any order in case of stock unavailability, pricing errors, fraudulent activity, or incomplete details.
  • Once an order is dispatched, cancellation will not be possible except in special cases approved by the company.

3. Pricing & Promotions

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Offers, discounts, and promotions are time-bound and cannot be applied after order placement.
  • Errors in pricing, if any, may result in cancellation of the order. Customers will be informed and refunded (if applicable).

4. Returns & Exchanges

Returns/Exchanges are only accepted if:

  1. The product is damaged or defective due to our fault.
  2. The wrong product has been delivered.

Conditions:

  • A clear, uncut unboxing video and 2–3 clear pictures are mandatory proof.
  • Return/exchange requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery via WhatsApp or email.
  • Fabrics must be unused, unwashed, uncut, and in original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Change of mind, wrong selection of color/size/quantity.
  • Sale/clearance items.
  • Fabrics that have been cut, stitched, washed, or altered.

Refunds:

  • Refunds are processed only if a replacement is unavailable.
  • Refunds will be credited within 5–7 business days via the original payment method (for prepaid orders).
  • COD refunds will be transferred via bank details provided by the customer.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship across Pan India and to selected international locations via trusted partners (Shiprocket and others).
  • Dispatch time: 24–48 hours (excluding Sundays & public holidays).
  • Delivery timelines vary by location and will be shared at checkout:
    • Metro Cities: 2–5 business days
    • Non-Metro Areas: 4–8 business days
    • International: 7–15 business days (customs may apply)
  • Customs duties, import charges, or taxes for international orders must be borne by the customer.
  • Once dispatched, Thread & Thaan is not responsible for courier delays, damages, or loss caused during transit.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
  • Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled except in cases of defect/wrong item.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Thread & Thaan will not be liable for:
    • Delays caused by courier partners or unforeseen events.
    • Minor variations in color or measurement.
    • Misuse, improper handling, or washing of fabrics after delivery.
  • Our liability, under any circumstance, will not exceed the value of the product purchased.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All product images, designs, descriptions, and website content belong to Thread & Thaan.
  • Any duplication, reproduction, or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of your use of our website or purchase of products will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Karkardooma Court, Delhi, India.

10. Updates to Terms

  • Thread & Thaan reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Customers are advised to review this page regularly for updates.
